We can say that without a doubt this was the longest, wettest, and the most fun we've ever had with an engagement session! Evan and Kimberly both had spent time in Humboldt while attending Humboldt State University in Arcata. It's also where they met! So when they decided to get married they knew that this northern California redwood oasis was the place they wanted to come home to. Having their engagement photos done in Orick and Trinidad proved to be a perfect compliment, and in good ole' Humboldt County fashion the date they scheduled for their session rained. But we didn't let that stop us! Evan and Kimberly said, "Rain or shine that's the day we're doing our photos."
They were complete troopers. Going as far north as past Orick, stopping at groves and trail heads, and ending with some spectacular views at Patrick's Point State Park. These two were willing to battle the elements to get the perfect shot, and capture the true elements that Humboldt traditionally brings.
Congratulations on your engagement Evan and Kimberly!
